I would love to know what’s going on in the bar inside Landmark Steakhouse. Everytime I pass by, a long, anxious line awaits outside, running down Pacific Coast Highway - a line of the chiseled, bosomed, botoxed, ‘natch. I’m hearing that it’s taking business away from Bandera and the Quiet Woman (the restaurant business, not plastic surgery). (Full review)

Rude manager, rushed dining, broken promises

Saturday night our party sat down for dinner at the Landmark Steak House. The restaurant's staff appeared to be courteous at first. During desert the waiter told us that we need to hurry up and leave so the next reservation could be seated at our table. I felt that was somewhat rude, so to make it up to us the manager assured us that we could get head of the line privileges with our receipt if we decided to return later for the night club. When we returned for the night club the manager proceeded to raise his voice and argue with me in front of all the other guests telling me that he would not honor the receipt and to get to the back of the line. I will not be returning to this restaurant and I will not recommend it to anyone else. $600 dining at its finest?

Great Place!

My family took my mother to Landmark for her birthday. I wasn’t sure what to expect but I was greatly impressed. The place is beautiful! The staff was great and seated our large group quickly. Our food was brought out almost immediately after we had all finished our salads. The menu prices were a little high but the Macadamia Nut Crusted Halibut was well worth it. My husband ordered the Double Breasted Airline Chicken, and although it has a crazy name the taste was simply delicious. We ended up switching half-way between our meals because we both liked each others meals so much. Off in another area there was an elegant bar with a piano player. I loved the relaxed feeling of the bar and plan to return if only to listen and have a few drinks. It did become a bit crowded throughout the evening but over all the experience was well worth it. At the end of the meal the staff served the cake we brought to celebrate my mom’s birthday. She was delighted and had a wonderful 50th. I well defiantly come here again.

I Loved It!

My first time experience at Landmark was awesome! I began with the Iceberg Wedge, which had just enough bacon & blue cheese dressing. For my entrée, I ordered the Chilean Seabass, many of my friends have been raving about this dish and they were right, it melted right in my mouth and was so delicious ! The decor was modern which I absolutely loved. Lastly, I have to mention the piano lounge, it had such a cool vibe. I will definitely come back.

Great Steak!!!

I believe I’ve found my home away from home. I recently moved to Newport Beach and stumbled on Landmark Steakhouse in nearby Corona Del Mar. Being a meat person, I do enjoy my steaks and there’s nothing makes a steak more enjoyable, aside from being a quality cut and properly prepared, is the ambiance where you eat it. Landmark has dark wood walls like a traditional steak house and comfortable booths. I ordered a bone-in rib-eye, medium. It was served exactly the way I like it down to grilled asparagus. Scrumptious. I’ve since had their beef stroganoff, this time at the bar. Almost as good as Mom’s. The bartender said the seafood dishes are incredible as well. This may be true, but I’ve got my two favorites. If you enjoy a good steak or stroganoff ,which seems harder and harder to find these days, you might want to give this place a try.
