The downtown sibling of soul food sister Memphis Cafe is a neo-mod sophisticate's dream. The minimalist décor lets pretty people mingle and a fireplace and a pair of mustard-colored pool tables make its fashion statement.

The venue hosts various events weekly including a different Monday Night Resident Band (free, 9 p.m. every Monday); Club Busy Work ($5, DJs spinnin' Rock/Hip Hop/Electoronica, 9 p.m. every Wednesday); "We Know Funny!" ($5, various comedians, 9 p.m. every Tuesday).
