20th Annual Dale Velzy Memorial Surf Contest and Luau

Open to the public, the event honoring one of the most famous surfers and surfboard shapers of all time – Dale Velzy who passed away in 2005 is a special program for the DLSA. The club has been honored to produce this venue for many years for all surfers who enjoy the same things that Dale enjoyed, mostly having fun with friends and family. Highlights include a surf contest, the luau, Polynesian review, dancing under the stars at Doheny with a live band, and generally just having a great time.
