awful experience
We booked tee times over the internet. When we got to the course we were notified that they were aerating the greens that day and oh, by the way, they were understaffed so the back 9 was closed. We'd have to play the front 9 twice. No refunds, no rainchecks - no remorse. The greens were predictably awful and to add insult to injury, there was a guy watering the ninth green while we were trying to play it! we were literally ON the green, trying to putt, and this joker is hosing down 5 feet from us. The front nine is ridiculously easy and there isn't much to look at. worst course i've played in southern california. It gets a full star because the chicken sandwich I had at the "turn" was damn delicious.

Steve: This is one of the county's newer courses, opened in 1997 and developed by former Angel third baseman Doug DeCinces. It has followed the trend of building around protected wilderness areas, like Westridge or Black Gold, and wraps around a reservoir that plenty of waterfowl like to call home.
It carries a pretty steep green fee, so it's not for the faint of wallet. An elegant course devoid of gimmickry, it rewards shot-making, not risk-taking. (Full review)
