Granted, it's a steakhouse, but they'd do well to have at least a couple vegetarian options on their menu. Man cannot subsist on tofu lettuce wraps alone! I think that's the only veggie option on the entire menu.

What can I say? It's a very comfortable, not-too-bright bar with some pretty killer food. Nothing remarkable but a good place to take friends after a day of shopping!

Plus the food's good, too. I like the bleu cheese burger. With all the flat screen TVs going, this is an animated and noisy place to watch a game and sample an exotic brew with friends.

I asked if we could meet at 6:15 instead and he said ‘fine.’ I didn’t expect him to arrive a minute before 6:30, but if I agreed to 6:30, he wouldn’t have walked through the doors of the Yard House at the Irvine Spectrum before 6:45, making a 7 p.m. showing of ‘The Matador’ a tough proposition. (These are strategies you take on after knowing somebody - and adoring their faults - for more than a decade.)
