CPK is a dependable quality joint, well established across the county. The LHills location, though at the street level, doesn't dissapoint in it's offerings. Nice enough ambience, and of course, the good chopped salad and fresh pizza.

The pizza is legendary, but don't skip over the salad menu. From the Original BBQ Chicken Chopped to the Waldorf to one of the best Caesar salad's around, the salads are always fresh and delicious.

The Macy's Lancome counter at the Laguna Hills Mall is one of the most unorganized and shady establishments. Two days ago I went to pre-order my $168.00 worth of lancome. The sales associate, Wendy, told me I would not be charged until 1 day before the order was to be available for pick-up. Now, this is a formality that I am familiar with, since I order most of my Lancome during the pre-sale events. Who wouldn't want to; you get so much more! Anyway, today I find that my card was charged! I called Macy's Lancome counter to speak with the supervisor-Aileen, and because it was busy she promised she would call me back. 3 Hours later, no call. I decided to call her back, and after 2 minutes of excusing herself from following up with me I decided to cancel my order. If an employee goes to great lengths to try to excuse herself from doing what she promised her customer then I do not need to patronize the establishment she works at. Although no one was rude to me I still have a hard time dealing with a store that when they have your credit card information think they can charge your card at their own leisure, and in this case 14 days before they promised me they would. I will never shop at this Macy's again! And, in this economic climate what retailer can afford to lose customers?

Over the weekend, I decided to whip up a little steak and lobster Mother’s Day lunch for my family only to find out, at the table, that stepmommy dearest doesn’t do sea bug. (Full review)
