ROLL THE DICE AND HELP A LOCAL WOMEN’S WHEELCHAIR BASKETBALL TEAM STAY ON ITS FEET
Americans are currently in a state of financial downturn and the housing market has been at its worst since 1945. With this in mind, our group is hosting an event that will not only provide education to individuals on how to improve their current situation, but promote giving to a charitable organization as well.
The fundraiser will be hosted by Team New Wealth and J. Massey, President of West Egg Enterprises in Laguna Hills. The fundraiser will be supporting the Lady Warriors wheelchair basketball league, coached by Hector Rodriguez. To date there are only 10 women’s teams in Southern California; the Lady Warriors have played in many exhibition games for schools, hospitals and expos in an effort to inspire the disabled community and to set an example for the newly injured. All proceeds from the fundraiser will go to the team.
The game Cashflow was created by Robert Kiyosaki of the Rich Dad, Poor Dad series (focusing on real estate investing and financial education); it teaches individuals the importance of managing a balance sheet of income and expenses, in addition to maintaining stock market and real estate portfolios.
Event will be held in Laguna Hills at the Team New Wealth office on Saturday, March 15th from 1-6pm. A recommended donation of $50 or more is appreciated; a $20 donation will be required at the door. Approximately 100 guests are expected to attend the event. In addition, 2005 UCI Hall of Fame member Popi Edwards will be in attendance.
