It's restaurant-quality food that's easy on the wallet. Cafe Maiz is the eighth eatery in the historic El Cholo family of restaurants that started in 1927. I ordered the chicken chimichanga – visualize the Mexican version of a giant eggroll. It was stuffed with tender chicken pieces, green pepper, and cheese. The outer layer of the wrap flaked upon touch and it was crunchy while underneath it was a thin layer of a doughy texture. A good combination!
