Lacuna Coil

A highly acclaimed band from Italy, they have performed with Ozzfest, Downloadfest, have been on the ABC-TV’s Jimmy Kimmel Live. Cristina Scabbia became the first female front woman ever to grace the fest’s main stage. LACUNA COIL also scored a Top 30 Active Rock hit single with the track “Our Truth” in addition to being featured on the covers of such esteemed publications as Revolver, Metal Edge, Outburn and Decibel, among many, many others. This is something I, personally, have never seen the likes of. They have been together for 15 years, have 5 albums, all with accolades from just about every area of the industry. Historically, most bands fail and break up after a very short time, but the glue that keeps this band together is that seem to play and work as one. They compliment each other and share a great sense of humor that makes it a joy to watch them work, as well as being spellbound by their individual talents. Now, with this U.S. tour to promote their latest cd, "Shallow Life", they will spread their wicked virus of music as only they can do. Their vocalists, Cristina Scabbia and Andrea Ferro, have a most unique strength, power and passion that you cannot help but be drawn into their world. Their lyrics seem to come from inner personal experiences that they use to the fullest in each song with each performance and the audience is enveloped with a raw energy that is, Lacuna Coil.
