Contemporary classical composer and longtime member of the eccentric Birdsongs of the Mesozoic, Erik Lindgren took time off from his multiple duties as musician, commercial music composer, and label owner (Arf!Arf!) to record Classical A-Go-Go in 2006. Classical A-Go-Go was technically his third solo album, but his first with acoustic ensemble the Frankenstein Consort. The Consort performs both Lindgren's original compositions as well as compositions by artists as diverse as Raymond Scott and Edgar Winter. ~ J. Scott McClintock, All Music Guide
