He is the beatboxing contestant on season six of American Idol, Blake Lewis is from Bothell, WA. He comes from a musical family, and began singing at age five. He impressed Randy Jackson, Simon Cowell, and Paula Abdul at the Seattle auditions with his beatboxing skills, enough for him to proceed to Hollywood.
