SOMA Fest, Somatic Movement Arts Festival, L.A

Tickets available here for Saturday & Sunday EmBodyment performances at the Continuum Studio, for L.A.'s Somatic Movement Arts Festival. The SOMA Fest features performances and workshops with artists from across the U.S., fostering conscious embodiment and transformation. Our Saturday performance lineup includes artists Teri Carter, Caryn Heilman, Jones Welsh, Holly Rothschild, Liz Maxwell, Rima Miller, and Daphne Georghiou. Sunday includes Festival particpants from the Performance Lab, plus artists Ana Flecha, Rajendra Serber and the Continuum Movement Theater Ensemble. SOMA Fest Workshops - Individuals from all walks of life are welcome to join in our transformational workshops Tues-Sun, Oct 6-11. We'll be exploring such practices as Continuum, Body-Mind Centering, Feldenkrais, Skinner Releasing, Contact Improvisation, Moving Theater, Chi Kung Theater and more! An opportunity to unfold creativity, embodied presence and ease of movement through conscious embodiment in practice & performance.
